Birding News has a number of ways in which you can search for bird sightings. They can be restricted by bird, or bird family, to area, dates, times, maturity, sex and rarity, and any combination of the above. More

Bird Spotting iPhone Application
The Birding news iPhone Application has been built to work in tandem with the Birding News website. Data is shared between the two, and through the app you can post bird sightings, receive sightings, receive alerts and view bird data on maps. It also uses the phones built in gps so you can see where you are in relation to the bird spottings that have been posted.

It is the ideal bird spotting application to take in to the field, and keeps you in touch with what is going on. You can post spottings as you see them, and easily stay in touch with the birding community.
